May

The month of May was quit busy for us! I got to celebrated Mother's day at school with Makayla. The kids put on a wonderful singing performance and we got to enjoy muffins and tea on place-mats made just for us my our kids! It was wonderful and Makayla was so proud to show off her songs and dances!

Makayla finished her soccer season. She enjoyed soccer but I don't think it "her thing" she would much rather be in a dance studio, and I am ok with that. Jackson however can't wait to get on the field!

Our garden flourished with color!

We celebrated memorial day with the family and Jackson showed us how to really enjoy corn on the cob!

Makayla graduated from VPK. My first born, my baby girl is officially a kindergardener.  How did this happen so fast? She was defiantly a shinning star in her VPK class. She was loved and adored by her teachers and classmates, I can only hope she does as well next year!

This last day of VPK was bitter sweet. Makayla's teachers always went the extra mile to make her feel extra special and I hate to see that end. Makayla made some amazing friends as did I. Her teachers were such a blessing in our families lives it breaks my heart to say goodbye to them.

Though she has fun I don't think she got her Dad's soccer genes. She is defiantly more of the ballet type! But she runs hard and has fun!
